The way to a person’s heart is most definitely through their stomach. Whether you’re trying to impress the foodie in your life or not, anyone who loves to eat (and who doesn’t?) will appreciate these thoughtful gift ideas. I have personally tried every one of the items on this list to give you quality assuredness. Click* on the photos to link to the product.
1. Mortar and pestle. I own this beauty in the largest size available. It’s huge, and I love it! I make large salads in it and serve it right out of the bowl. It also makes for a great conversation piece.
2. Global 8″ chef knife. Every foodie needs a great chef’s 8″ inch knife. I’ve tried many of the high-end brands, and I always come back to my global.
3. Insta-pot pressure cooker. Every busy foodie needs an insta-pot to make healthy quick dinners on the fly. I cannot recommend this enough. It’s a must in my household.
4. Cast iron Dutch oven. I absolutely love my Dutch oven by Le Creuset. I think every foodie dreams of one day owning a full set of this high-end French cookware. My first piece was a Dutch oven and it was a gift. I was over the moon excited, and I will cherish it for ever. I am still slowly growing my set today.
5. Cocktail shaker kit. What foodie that likes to entertain wouldn’t love a beautiful cocktail shaker for the perfect dirty martini?
6. Salt and spice cellers. These are inexpensive little gifts, but priceless in the kitchen. I have 3 of them, and I use them every single day. Plus they look great on the counter and are extremely functional.
7. Large cutting board. I chop vegetables daily and love a large heavy duty cutting board like this one.
8. Hydro flask. This is the perfect gift for the foodie on the go. Carry your favorite smoothie to work in the morning, and it will stay cold all day. Or enjoy your favorite tea infusion that will stay hot for hours.
9. Stainless steel mixing bowls. I recieved this set a few years ago, and I use 1 or 2 of these daily. I love them and they are also beautiful.
10. Stainless steel drinking straws. This is a perfect gift for the eco-friendly foodie.
11. A beautiful plant-strong cookbook. I read cookbooks like novels and own a ridiculous amount of them, but I am always pleased, and little giddy, to recieve another one.
12. Nespresso coffee maker and frother. Ok, this has been a game changer in my life. I was staying in a hotel in South Carolina that had this same machine, and I was shocked how well it made the perfect, smooth espresso. I ordered it immediately, with the frother, and use it daily. It’s compact and doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. I order my coffee pods directly from Nespresso and love that they include a pre-paid recycling bag to send in my empty pods for free.
13. Stainless steel salad spinner. I received this exact salad spinner as a wedding gift in 2013 and it is still going strong. I use it almost every day.
14. Stemless red wine glasses. I love Riedell wine glasses and especially the stemless glasses, because I have been known to spill.
14. Slate Cheese board. I love to entertain, and these boards make a great presentation for appetizers.
16. High speed blender. For the foodie who has been really good this year, give them the gift of possibility with a Vitamix—one of the most powerful blenders out there.
17. Gourmet flavored salts. If you are like me, you love a good flavored salt. This gift pack will not disappoint. My husband got me this gift pack a few years ago, and I am still using it.
18. Spiralizer. In the spirit of all things healthy, every health-inspired foodie needs a food spiralizer to make zucchini noodles.
19. Copper pepper mill. A cool vintage-looking pepper mill that is not only easy on the eyes, but strong in the hand. Feels like it will last forever.
20. Heavy duty wok. A great gift for that relative who says they want to start eating more vegetables in the New Year. A wok is a perfect idea for making delicious stir-frys. This wok has a round bottom so make sure the receiver of your gift has a gas stove.
…. And that’s it! These are my top 20. Let me know if you need more? I kinda have a kitchen gadget obsession.
